On March 13, the ceremony for presenting the 1st "Guangdong Friendship Award" was held in Guangzhou. Mr. Xiong Delong, an honorary citizen of Shantou, chairman of the US Sloeng Group and chairman of the US/Indonesia International Daily News, won this honor.

“Guangdong Friendship Award” is an honorary award established by Guangdong Provincial People's Government for commending the foreign nationals who have made outstanding contributions to Guangdong's economic and social development and foreign exchanges. The selection of the candidates for the Award was held for the first time in 2022. A total of 49 foreign experts and international friends from 23 countries received the Award.

　　3月13日，首届“广东省友谊奖”颁奖仪式在广州隆重举行。我市荣誉市民、美国熊氏集团董事长、美国印尼国际日报董事长熊德龙先生获此殊荣。

　　“广东省友谊奖”是广东省政府为表彰在广东经济社会发展和对外交往中作出突出贡献的外籍人士而设立的荣誉奖项。2022年为首次开展评选，共有来自23个国家的49位外国专家和国际友人获奖。
